At Westpex this year, there was an amusing little exhibit in the youth area called Finally! An Explanation of Pokemon (If anyone knows who the author is, please let me know, so I can credit them here). You can click here to see the first few pages. Pokemon is outrageously popular with the little people (kids), and this could be a good topic to get kids started in the wonderful world of stamp collecting. Further to this end, the Japanese ministry of posts and telecommunications will release an “Anime Hero and Heroine” series of stamps and a souvenir sheet in 2005.
