Christmas is a wonderful time of year for me. This is the time of year that I get excited, as new Christmas and Holiday stamp releases are like getting presents. It is truly humbling to see all the countries celebrate the holidays. To me it brings us all a little closer together. For philatelists, you could call it our corner of “Peace on Earth”.
The Isle of Man releases their Christmas Stamps today (11/07/05) and they are spectacular. Five stamps make up this set with the main characters of the nativity. Featured on these stamps are beautiful examples of stained glass windows from churches that are located around the Isle of Man.
