Well two of my favorite past times come together as La Poste of France releases a sheet of stamps on Heroes of Video Games! Or as they say in France “Heros des Jeux-Video”.
Since the beginning of video games (and I am talking Pong here), generations have been attracted to the various heroes of the games. The stamps featured in this release, which is now available, are Link (from Legend of Zelda), Mario, Adibou (a French video game for children), Pacman, Prince of Persia, Rayman, Lara Croft, Spyro, Donkey Kong, and Les Sims. What? Les Sims?! Well to each his own.
If you have ever enjoyed video games then this might be a must, even if you do not collect France. It might also perk the interest of a younger stamp collector or collector to be.
