Naomi Felblinger has got to be one of the happiest people alive today. For an initial outlay of $11.60, Ms. Felblinger realized $373, 750 for her pane of 1992 Stock Exchange stamps with 12 centers omitted and 28 inverted center stamps. Ms. Felblinger reportedly kept the pane in a sock drawer for 13 years before finally deciding to find out how much it was worth. The pane and the story appeared in the September 5, 2005 issue of Linn’s stamp news. The pane was sold in an H.R. Harmer’s auction on November 16.
