One of the stamps in Great Britains new Christmas stamp series depicts what appears to be Hindus worshipping Jesus. The stamp is based on a 17th century painting housed in Bombay India. Why is it that every little thing has to turn into a giant slap in the face of someone? If the biggest thing you have to worry about is some mildly inaccurate representation on a postage stamp, then I would say that you have a pretty good life. This endless divisiveness over religious differences has got to stop, as it is the primary reason for half the world’s troubles today. Catholics need to learn to get along with Protestants, Hindus with Sikhs, and Muslims with Jews. Stop taking offense to the tiniest perceived slights, it just really isn’t worth the time or energy. Honestly, I doubt that the British government is going out of it’s way to discriminate against Hindus.
