It was reported that on Thursday December 8th China released a 3-volume stamp album set called “The Paths of Glory”. This Olympic set is reported to collect more than 200 stamps that have been issued from countries around the world. Topical collectors should be thrilled to know this covers more than 100 years of Olympic History.

While any photo’s of this set have not been found…yet, the publisher of the stamp albums is People’s Sport Publishing House of China. On an interesting note, this is the first Olympic stamps album authorized by the International Olympic Committee.

What photo’s have been found are of todays release from China of “The Emblem and Mascots of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad”. This is a set of six stamps with a total face value of 4.80 yuan.
