Tomorrow (February 4, 2006) is World Cancer Day, and in honor of the occasion, the Luke Neuhedel foundation for children’s cancer research is asking for donations of booklets of stamps to help their cause. Their mission as described on their website is:
The Luke Neuhedel Foundation was established April 2002 in memory of Luke Paul Tolson Neuhedel, who lived a miraculous 32 months with hepatoblastoma, a rare childhood liver cancer that effects less than one in a million children each year. His favorite things were “happy faces,” as he called smiley faces, Bear in the Big Blue House, Godzilla, and Pokemon. Luke lives on in all the children we are able to assist.

*Note: I am not suggesting that you send valuable booklets like the one above to them, just send a new one from the post office.
