There is a story circulating around on the Internet that comes straight out of the movie “Brewster’s Millions”. Apparently, some fool has used an Inverted Jenny to mail in his absentee ballot in Florida. The stamp has reportedly been canceled, and is now in storage and destined to be destroyed along with all the other absentee ballots in 2 to 3 years time. Now, I don’t know about you, but I find this just a little bit hard to believe, and I am taking the whole story with a grain of salt. What kind of idiot would keep a half million dollar stamp sitting around where anyone could accidentally put it on an envelope? Nonetheless, you can find the story here, here, and here.
