Today, January 15 2006, Canada Post issued their “Celebration” stamp. This is certainly a bright and festive looking design with confetti and ribbon. It is available in a booklet of 6 or First Day Cover. The .52-cent domestic rate stamp is perfect for just about any special event.
If you are wondering where the balloons are, it is interesting to note that designers had an open book to just about every design element…except the balloon. Balloons were off limits as they were featured on the 2006 Birthday stamp.
