Iran Releases Nuclear Stamp

The news came out of Tehran, this weekend, that Iran has announced a new stamp…with a nuclear theme. According to officials on Saturday, the design is one that “symbolise values of this national achievement”. In the announcment, the Culture Ministry announced that “the stamp is to be a tribute to Iran’s success of having reached the know-how for peaceful nuclear technology”. This reference points to Irans April 9th claim of having developed the ability to enrich uranium.
It is said that their nuclear program is on an industrial scale. Also noted is that the advance in Irans nuclear program has ushered in a new phase in its nuclear development. The Culture Ministery added that the stamp shows “serious attention of Iranian artists and designers to this important achievement”.
