Taiwan Adds Panda Stamps To Cute Animal Series

Taiwan Post added five stamps to their “Cute Animal Series” today, April 25, 2007. The five stamps come from designer Hung-tu Ko and feature the “Lesser Panda”. These stamps come in a variety of formats for the four stamps and miniature sheet, which include FDC’s, Folder’s, Loose-leaf Stamp Album Page, Collecting Card and more.
The “Lesser Panda” is recognized by it’s reddish chestnut colored coat, with white patches on it’s faces and ear edges. What may surprise many people is the fact that these panda’s are carnivorous. Taiwan Post hopes that this set of stamps can help draw public attention to the need for wildlife conservation.
