Tawain Issue Scenery Stamps



Today Tawain issues four stamps relating to the beautiful scenery of this country. These stamps are available today, November 11 2006. As well as single issue, the stamps are can be obtained in FDC, Special Folder, Loose-leaf, Maximum, Precancelled versions.

Featured are: Jhongshan Building which is located in Yangmingshan National Park. This facility is a work of architecture in the Chinese palace style that is nestled in the mountains.

Taroko Gorge can be found in Taroko National Park. Featured in this stamp is Changchun Shrine, one of Taroko Gorge’s famous scenic spots.

Yeliou, in the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area. Yeliou is a long and narrow cape that juts out from the north coast of Taiwan. This is the most famous geologic park in northern Taiwan. Featured here is Queen’s Head Rock.

Sun Moon Lake in Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area. You can find the lake ringed by mountain ridges with very clear water. As the clouds and colors of the sky change, so does the appearance of the lake.
