The US Fish and Wildlife Service has selected the winner of the 2005 Duck Stamp Contest. The winner is Sherrie Russell Meline of Mt. Shasta, California, and she is only the second woman in the history of the contest to win. The winning painting is of a Ross’s Goose, and is shown below.
