Huntington Theatre Company of Boston, MA will debut it’s new play Mauritius today, a play about two half-sisters that fight over a book of rare, priceless stamps and who find themselves in “deep trouble with a trio of shady dealers.” The show stars Obie Award-winning actress Marin Ireland, and is directed by Theresa Rebeck. The show runs Oct. 6-Nov. 12 at the Virginia Wimberly Theatre in Boston Center for the Arts’ Stanford Calderwood Pavilion. I believe this is the first time I’ve ever heard of a play featuring stamps or stamp collecting. You can read the original article at Playbill.com. I’d be very interested in hearing from anyone that attends the play, and would be happy to publish their review of the play right here on Tidbits.
