Over at VSC, there is a hot debate going on over where the next International Philatelic Exhibition should be held. APS asked for proposals over two years ago, with the deadline being the APS Stampshow in Grand Rapids a couple of weeks ago. Only 2 bids were received, one very well prepared bid for Columbus, Ohio, and a poorly prepared bid for NY City, NY. The final vote has been delayed to allow NYC more time to prepare a decent proposal. Everything from costs for traveling to either city to outright conspiracy theories is being discussed.
