MSNBC ran a HUGE story today on the ongoing exploits of a stamp scam artist that has been ripping off collectors on eBay for approximately 9 years. The article details the efforts of SCADS and describes the former stamp dealer from upstate New Yorks crimes in detail. For anyone that’s spent any time on the Internet stamp collecting chat boards, this will be a familiar story. It’s about time that the story got some mainstream press exposure. Until now, the authorities have been highly reluctant to do anything about this scam artist. Perhaps now, with some real press exposure, something will finally be done. Let’s hope so, anyway.
