Among the philatelic news this weekend was a story about a Norwegian, who has been collecting Gandhi stamps for 36 years.

Ole-Frederik Olsen’s interest began 36 years ago, when he received a registered airmail cover with a Gandhi stamp that had been issued in 1948. This inspired Olsen so much that he began stamp collecting at that time. His collection quickly grew beyond that of India and now comprises some 82 countries.
