On August 18, Hong Kong Post issued four new stamps honoring “Four Great Inventions of China”. This set comprises four stamps of four denominations and showcases four Chinese technologies. The $1.40 stamp depicts the compass, and the $2.40 stamp shows printing. The $3 stamp illustrates gunpowder and the $5 stamp portrays papermaking.
