Laura Leff of Oakland, California, is starting a petition to get Jack Benny honored on a stamp once again. The last Jack Benny stamp was in 1991. So why a Jack Benny stamp now? Benny was famous for replying to the question of how old he was as 39. With domestic first-class postage increasing to 39 cents in January, now would be a good time for a Jack Benny stamp, says Ms. Leff.
