King County Parks and the Northwest Parks Foundation, in Washington state, has cut a deal with Zazzle.com to sell stamps depicting scenes from their local parks. 27 percent of the net sales will go to the parks to help fund maintenance and park operations. I think this is a good use for the personalized stamps, as well as for charity fundraisers and non-profit fundraising. There is a rumor (I read it somewhere, I just don’t remember where) going around that APS is planning on doing something similar.
