I have some old tax stamps and am wondering how to find the value? Thought maybe you could help.

Terri, you can often find the value of tax stamps in the back of the book section in the Scott Specialized Catalog of United States Stamps. They are generally referred to as revenue stamps. Only the federal issues will be found in this catalog, though, and not all of them at that. There are also specialized catalogs for each state. If you have an interest in collecting revenue stamps I would suggest joining the US Specialized Yahoo group and asking some questions about them, as we have some of the most recognized experts on revenue stamps as members.
