In this weeks Linn’s Stamp News, John Hotchner makes mention of the possibility that Muppets character Miss Piggy may be modeled after real-life actress Loretta Swit. Loretta Swit is better known to many as “Hot Lips” Houlihan from the hit television series M.A.S.H. I can really see the resemblance there, and I thought I would post about this here, so everyone can judge whether or not this may be true. You will, however, have to search around on the Internet for pictures of Loretta Swit, as I cannot post them here due to copyright considerations.
