Saleem Khan, a fellow participant in the Yahoo US_Specialized group and the online stamp club Stamporama, has discovered a new error on the 10c American Clock stamp from the current American Design series. The error is two pair of stamps on piece from a mixture that have no die-cuts between the stamps. Saleem recently had them expertised and the story appears in the December 4, 2006 edition of Linn’s Stamp News. It takes a lot of patience and a LOT of attention to detail to catch something like this in a mixture of thousands of stamps. Kudos to Saleem for being the eagle eye to catch this gem. I have corresponded and traded with Saleem in the past, and I can tell you that he is a philatelist’s philatelist, who really knows his stuff. Congratulations, Saleem, and enjoy your new found fame and “fortune”.
