Here is a heart-warming story of a group of survivors in Baghdad, who despite all the violence and upheaval, have managed to keep their little stamp club going. In spite of having to move their office twice in the last few years due to the violence, the Iraqi Philatelic and Coins Society, founded in 1951, has continued to hold their weekly meetings on Sundays. In spite of everything their passion for the hobby has not diminished, though the membership has dwindled a bit. All I’ve got to say is, good for them and keep the faith!
