Royal Mail to Issue James Bond Stamps



A new set of honoring everybody’s favorite spy, , will be issued in January 2008 by Royal Mail of Britain. The stamps will be issued in just about every format imaginable, with six different stamps and 3 different denominations. The subjects will be Casino Royale, Dr. No, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, For Your Eyes Only, and From Russia With Love, and will depict the covers of the original Ian Fleming novels, rather than the movie posters. The formats will include the six stamps, a miniature sheet, a prestige book, a presentation pack, and first day covers. This will be sure to be one of the most popular issues of the year in 2008!
