Sharapova unhappy with “nerd” image

In a story on the Reuter’s UK site, Maria Sharapova told the press that she is sorry that she ever told anyone about her stamp collecting. Her agent has directed her not to answer any more questions about the hobby for fear that it might give her a “geek” image. In the interest’s of keeping this site family-friendly, I will not express my opinion of this, but let’s just say that it is less than favorable. You can read the aforementioned article here.
