Stephanie Wilson, a mission specialist on the current space shuttle mission, is a stamp collector. An article on Space.com reveals that she has been a collector since she was 8 years old, and that she collects only those stamps that she receives on letters. Wilson was prohibited from taking any stamps up into space with her due to a draconian rule that prohibits “any items such as philatelic materials that may be exploited by the recipient.” For the full article you can click here.
