Stamp Auction in Wil, Switzerland



This has got to be a first for Tidbits, two posts on Switzerland in the same week. At any rate, the Rapp auction house in Wil, Switzerland is getting set to auction off many of the rarest Swiss stamps starting Monday. There will be some $12.3 Million worth of lots in the auction, mostly of mid 19th century Swiss stamps, but also some covers. Here’s a link to the original story over on NZZ Online.
