Here is a nice story from the heart of India, appearing in today’s The Telegraph in Calcutta. The story is about an Indian minister named Father Tom John, who collects Princess Diana stamps. He also has a few other topical collections on such subjects as Flowers, animals, cars, planes, sports personalities, locomotives, Greek paintings, political figures, festivals, maps, important days like Women’s Day, World AIDS Day, independence day of various countries, and medicine, but the Princess Diana collection is his largest. The only bothersome thing about this article is the author’s focus on stamp collecting as being an “expensive” hobby.
