Stamps - Making the Grade

There is a story in today’s Daily Comet out of Thibodaux, La that covers the need to pay attention to the quality of material in your collection. Specifically, the article talks about grading and gives a listing of descriptions of grade as outlined by the National Postal Museum. It’s an AP article, so I can only guess that the Comet was having trouble filling space. I doubt it’s the start of a new column. Nonetheless, I’m always appreciative when I see a stamp collecting or postal history piece in a mainstream publication.
