The Forever Stamp - Confusing?

It seems that not quite everyone gets the concept of the Forever Stamp, and in fact find it confusing and frustrating that there is no value stated on the face of the stamp. I stumbled across this exchange on the Chicago Tribune site this morning, and thought it quite interesting that some would find the Forever Stamp confusing. I guess the clerk that sold the stamps to these people didn’t really take any time to explain what “Forever” means. I’m curious to know whether these folks are isolated incidents, or is there mass confusion on this concept?
I’m sure that most stamp collectors know all about how these stamps are used, but how do your friends and relatives differ in their understanding. Have you asked them, or heard from them about this topic? Leave a comment and tell us what you’ve heard…
Also, I wonder if the same kind of confusion surrounds the Breast Cancer stamp, since it is non-denominated and satisfies the first class 1oz. rate no matter what was paid for the stamp at the time of purchase. Inquiring minds want to know!
