Topical Collecting in the News

Today’s Star-Telegram out of Arlington, Texas features a story about Ray Cartier, the executive director of the American Topical Association (ATA) and his wife, Karen. It’s a good article, telling the story of how Ray and Karen got started in topical collecting and featuring sections about each of their topical interests. Ray’s interest is space stamps, so the previous post here would be of particular interest to him. Karen collects stained glass related stamps. The story is well written, and in a language that anyone can understand, rather than a bunch of philatelic technical mumbo-jumbo. You can read the full story here.
