In this morning’s Washington Post there is a column in the Kids Post section entitled “Giving the Postage Its Due.” The article describes how the author received his mother’s stamp childhood stamp collection as a gift and had it assessed by none other than Jacques Schiff Jr. at Washington 2006. While it is good to see another stamp article in the mainstream press, I wonder why it was buried in the Kids Post section. It certainly doesn’t sound like it was written for kids.
