A story appears today that gives a bit more information and background on Canada’s new White Sturgeon stamp, which is part of the recent Endangered Species stamp issue. The fish is a resident of the Fraser River in British Columbia, and is the world’s largest freshwater fish. It become endangered due to pollution, loss of habitat, and overfishing.
