He IS worthy but I find this to be an act by US Gov. to be like the cart before the horse.
The only acknowledgment by US Gov. that I’ve seen is his patent on-line for his shoe invention.
Congresswoman Shiela Jackson Lee’s resolution for Michael was shut down. That sorry excuse for a Congressman, Peter King was never brought up for ethics violations for his public slander of MJ.
It comes off as very superficial to me BECAUSE, like Cathy said he proved to me one of the greatest humanitarians yet, this stupid country has not rightfully honored him for this as yet.

Mr. Jackson deserves this honor more than anyone else in the history. He is one of the greatest humanitarians this country has ever produced. This fellow country men has to be proud of this wonderful human being. People who are jealous about his extra ordinary talents and the love for him from millions around the world only can’t respect him and don’t like if others honor him.

“whether or not he is worthy of such an honor” DUH, of course he is worthy! Not only is Michael Jackson one of the greatest singers, dancers and entertainers of all time but he was also a great Humanitarian. Everything he did in life was for “Us”, he wanted nothing more than to make this world a better place and he did. He deserves more respect than he was ever given. We in the USA should be proud this was his home Country, I know I am!
