Rare precancel in Regency Auction

The upcoming Regency auction to be held at StampShow in Grand Rapids, Michigan, will have a rare Scott #905b Los Angeles precancel up for grabs. Bidding starts at $375.00, with 2005 Scott catalog value at $500.00 in italics. 905b is the rare purple shade variety of the 3c Win the War stamp of 1942. The stamp was normally a violet shade.
